Ness Medi-Alarm

The Ness Medi-Alarm is a sophisticated emergency signaling product which provides peace of mind and independence for the elderly or infirm.

The Medi-Alarm has a high speed digital dialer built-in and can accept alarms from the Medi-Alarm Pendant Transmitter. Medi-Alarm Inactivity PIR, Ness Mini Radio Reed Switch or any other Ness radio device.. Supplied with plug pack, dialer, battery backup and one waterproof pendant transmitter.

Wireless Pendants

Medi-Alarm is activated by simply pressing the button on a Wireless Pendant Transmitter which can be worn on a chain around the neck, on a key ring or on the wrist using the wristwatch strap. The pendant Transmitter is rugged and fully waterproof to allow the user complete freedom of movement.

The Medi-Alarm can be used with 8 Pendant Transmitters, each with an unique user ID when reporting to the monitoring station. The Pendant Transmitters use a long life lithium battery for many years of reliable service.

The Pendant Transmitters are simple for the installer to program using the Self Learning method. A signal strength indicator in program mod helps ensure reliable operation.

Inactivity Monitor

The Inactivity Monitor is a powerful feature commonly used by people living alone. Wireless PIRs or Wireless Reed Switches are used to monitor the user's normal movement through the house. If movement ceases for a pre-programmed interval, Medi-Alarm will sound a warning and then dial the monitoring station.

Pill Reminder

Medi-Alarm can be programmed to remind the user to take medication at preset times. The Pill Reminder time interval can be ser between 0 - 256 hours.

Remote Programming

The built-in digital dialer communicates in Contact ID format and can report up to 8 Pendant Transmitters or other devices as well as a number of system alarms (see specifications). The dialer can also be programmed remotely by up/download using a PC and a modem.
